DDC Products

An entire direct digital control system can be built with ASI controls and accessories. We have designed our components to work stand-alone or as part of a system network.
ASI Catalog

Our products are organized into 5 categories:

Software

All controls devices can be setup, commissioned and maintained with ASI Expert. ASI Expert recognizes and supports all ASI system and terminal unit controllers in a single integrated package

ASI WebLink/OPC web server software three main components: The Console allows monitoring of web activity in real time; The integrated Web View Editor facilitates creating webserver data and history views; and the built-in web servers converts the web views to HTML/JavaScript modules and handles Read/Write data via XML.

The ASI OPC Server allows connection over the ethernet to any OPC Client.

ASI Alarm Monitor software is used to collect alarm and event information from individual controllers. The Windows-based software can be connected to the control network: via direct RS-232 connection, TCP/IP Ethernet, or by telephone modem. The software captures the incoming alarm or event, displays current alarms, logs the alarms to a data base. It can also be configured to annunciate alarms by dial-out pager, e-mail, or fax.

ASI MobileXpert software runs in a Pocket PC with a Compact Flash RS-485 card making a hand held operator tool. It can be used for field maintenance of ASI controllers.

Network Interface Devices

Network Interface Devices includes the ASI EtherLink that provides IP to RS-232 connection to a remote ASI network; the SINC/1-1030 that provides access to the RS-485 local bus through a WS-0xx wall sensor; and the SINC/3-3000 that provides direct and modem RS-232 access to the RS-485 system bus and two local buses of ASI controllers.

Configurable Controllers

The ASIC/2 family of controllers is fully configurable for HVAC & R and similar process applications. The ASIC/2-7540 and the ASIC/2-7040 has 16 inputs, 12 binary outputs, and 8 analog outputs. The ASIC/2-8040 has 8 inputs, 8 binary outputs, and 4 analog outputs.
Pre-Programmed Controllers

ASIC/1 pre-programmed controllers are available for VAV terminal units (ASIC/1-8055), fan coil units, hydronic air conditioners (ASIC/1-8255), water source heat pumps, rooftop air conditioners and packaged air conditioning units (ASIC/1-8355). The ASIC/1-8655 Packaged AC Controller has 8 relay outputs and many new features. The ASIC/1 controllers contain a comprehensive choice of pre-installed sequences reducing the start-up time significantly.

Accessories

Temperature Sensors matched to ASIC/1 and ASIC/2 controllers are provided with either modular or screw terminals. Other Sensors include a wide range of temperature, humidity, and pressure sensing devices.

Projects:

Hampton Realty

We were commissioned to design/build a new Building Management System for Hampton Realty's property in Newark, NJ at Gateway Center. The specifications included alarm monitoring, and electrical sub-metering for tenant billing. Also included in job specifications was integration of Automatic Temperature Control of building air handling units and tenant VAV terminal boxes. To date the project has saved the customer considerable expense on their yearly electric consumption costs .We are also responsable for preventive maintenance on ATC system as well as all tenant fit-out work regarding control of VAV and Supplemental heating and cooling equipment.
