News: Binsky receives "Patriotic Employer" Award

Binsky is recognized for their outstanding support of employees in the US Reserves

Binsky & Snyder Service was recently honored by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. Mike Rapp, President of Binsky Service and Adele Lewis, Dispatcher for Binsky Service were both recognized for their outstanding support.

Binsky Service has long employed individuals that were in the Reserves. However, when technician Kenny Knowles was called to duty, it was a first for Binsky. As Mike Rapp stated, "From day one, we told Kenny not to worry about his job, his benefits, his family, Binsky would be there for support". Adele was pleased to coordinate monthly Binsky care packages to send to Kenny, collecting items from fellow employees and the company. Kenny greatly appreciated the support, and shared the supplies and safety items with his unit.

Representatives from the Department of Defense's organization, ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve), presented the awards and expressed their appreciation of Binsky's strong support for an employee serving in the military.

Robert B. Snyder, Jr., Executive Vice President was in attendance, along with Mike Rapp, Adele Lewis, Kenny Knowles, Ernest J. Stoukas and SGM (Ret) Richard Burke.
